THE SUPPLY

           As any electrical device the computer needs an electrical energy source. Usually it is the mains, the local supply (220V or 110V depending upon your area) The supply converts that source into acceptable voltage for the different components, motherboard, hard disks and other mass storage devices. See photograph below:

 

           This connector goes onto the motherboard.  
Supply These connectors are to supply the hard disks, CD-ROM drive and DVD drive.
Connector for the floppy drive.
